Join our team as a Delivery Driver at Loffler Companies! We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to handle the delivery, installation, pickup, and processing of Loffler equipment and commodities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving a Loffler truck to deliver and pick up equipment and goods, ensuring careful and accurate loading and unloading. You will also install machines at customer locations, entering the given IP into the device to get it on the network. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position, with reasonable accommodation, if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in "other related duties as assigned":

  • Careful and accurate loading and unloading of the delivery vehicles, verifying product based on daily assignments and routes.
  • Follows the delivery schedule provided by the installation coordinator.
  • Calls customers to confirm delivery method and notify when they are on route to the location.
  • Notify the install coordinator of any delivery delays that occur to coordinate with IT for networking.
  • Install equipment and finishers in the locations designated by the customer and test copy.
  • Ability to enter network information given into the machines for remote networking ability.
  • Notify the install coordinator when the last stop is completed to see if there is anything in that area that could be completed.
  • Ensure all delivery and acceptance forms are signed, completed, and returned for processing.
  • Unload truck at the end of the day and move equipment picked up to the appropriate area.
  • Keep the delivery trucks clean and maintained as needed.
  • Maintain pending delivery holding area by organizing based of requested delivery date and keeping the area clean.
  • Perform the returned stock equipment process at the end of the day.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • In-office and travel to client sites as required.
  • Great organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively perform your duties with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and achieve deadlines and results.
  • Good customer service skills dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Team-orientated individual.

 

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED and one year of related experience.
  • Basic computer, network, and phone skills.

  • Interaction with internal and external customers on a regular basis.
  • Employee is regularly required to stand/sit for extended periods of time.
  • Constant bending and lifting is required.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Frequently required to use hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
