Position Summary: The ITSG Operations Coordinator will serve as a pivotal link between ITSG Service and the Distribution Center, facilitating smooth order delivery and hardware execution. This role will assist in ensuring the availability of hardware, coordinating internal configurations, and confirming hardware availability. Additionally, the ITSG Operations Coordinator will collaborate with the Service Manager – IT Operations to enhance operational efficiency by identifying process improvement opportunities and assisting in the documentation of policies and standards.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • ITSG Operations Coordination
    • Liaison between ITSG Service and Distribution Center.
    • Assist ITSG Service teams with order delivery, execution of internal configuration and delivery of hardware.
    • Assist ITSG Service teams with confirmation of hardware availability.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Work with Service Manager – IT Operations to continuously review ITSG needs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
    • Assist with documentation of policy/standards creation.
    • Assist with the implementation of operational changes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Vendor Auditing
    • Assist in conducting recurring audits of third-party vendor costs to ensure billing accuracy and profitability.
    • Collaborate with ITSG Orders and ITSG Service Management teams to track vendor spend and report on cost variances and cost saving opportunities.
  • Other responsibilities
    • Project management of special internal projects as needed.
    • Support ITSG service teams as required.
    • Responsible for understanding, staying updated on, and abiding by the Employee Handbook as written.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:                                                                 

  • In-office attendance is required a minimum of two days per week at our St. Louis Park office, with the possibility of additional days required based on operational needs and team collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of IT service delivery processes, vendor management, and operational best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to focus on priorities while working in a fluid environment.
  • Ability to relate well at all levels of the organization, building rapport, and maintaining collaborative relationships.
  • Strong understanding of process and how to improve it.
  • Understand when to work independently and when to use a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to liaise with internal teams and vendors.
  • Knowledge of relevant IT applications, processes, software, and equipment.
  • Skill in leading people and getting results with a strong customer orientation.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional understanding of process and how to improve it.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to perform.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
  • Prior industry experience in similar field or job duties preferred.
