Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position, with reasonable accommodation, if necessary.  Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in "other related duties as assigned":

  • Prepare, evaluate and enter basic journal entries for all lines of business as required for financial accuracy.
  • Validate and reconcile basic accounts for month end financial information.
  • Multi-state sales and use tax preparation.
  • Process expense reimbursements in a timely manner.
  • Analyze transactions daily to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Create monthly financial reports in collaboration with team members and upon direction of management.
  • Cross train to provide backup to other accountants during time off.
  • Perform special projects when needed.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of two days in office.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Ability to organize and process information according to procedures.
  • Ability to prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax as required by the respective taxing jurisdiction.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize job responsibilities to maximize efficiency and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through skills.
  • Team player.
  • Basic computer skills

 

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 4 year accounting degree.
